As far as the product itself, from a HEMA viewpoint of knife on knife duel it's very good. The handle is pretty much as long/wide as the original which is not great for a practice version since padded gloves need to be used in order to simulate attacks on the weapon hand. The texture on the grip does it's work and the knife is secure in the hand, so it's ok.

I simply had a shipping bag full of dust, belote has always been a great company to deal with until now,, I am not happy with the 9 intact pieces of wet fire i recieved, was a poor value when i paid for 12.

Cons: the handles are a bit loose nothing too crazy but none the less I've narrowed this down to a manufacturing problem not this seller, it's something you have to open the package to feel and they were sealed shut. All in all 37$ for a decent machete.
