I am going to have all the buckles and straps reinforced. They are only attached with a single row of stitches an a little glue. Very weak for the primary stress points. The leather for the shaft and the straps is much less that I would expect. Would have expected it to be heavier. The shoe laces supplied were too short to actually go more than half way up the foot.
