Set in 2020, when America's implication in the assassination of a potential Chinese leader leads to extreme tensions between the U.S., China, and Russia, the single-player campaign puts gamers in charge of Sgt. Daniel Recker and his group of special operatives as they battle through Shanghai, Azerbaijan, and across a listing aircraft carrier in an attempt to prevent WWIII.<br><br>Built using DICE's proprietary Frostbite 3 game engine, Battlefield 4 was designed to capture sights, sounds, and fury of all-out war on land, in the air, and at sea. New amphibious assault missions find gamers battling the high winds and heaving seas as they pilot agile attack boats to combat foes on water and on the shore, while the Levolution system challenges players to adjust to dynamically changing environments that feature battlefield deformation and collapsing buildings. The RTS-like Commander mode returns for Battlefield 4, with gamers gathering intelligence, providing key ammo and vehicle drops to the team, and delivering devastating gunship and missile strikes when needed.<br><br>Multiplayer action remains a key component of the Battlefield experience, with dozens of players competing across a variety of maps in Obliteration mode, where the goal is to grab bombs from the center of the map and use them to destroy the enemy base; Defuse mode, a fast-paced game of attack and defense; and Domination mode, a close-quarters game that requires a mix of strategy and action. Gamers can use the Battlelog to challenge friends to contests and to see how they compare to competitors from around the globe, and the Battlelog can also be accessed from tablets and mobile devices.

    Game is dead

    Not enough players playing this game anymore. As fun and great as it is. Most people have either moved on to bf1 or overwatch. It's a shame really I think you'll find more players on battlefront. The graphics haven't aged well. The best part is if you have a ps4 pro it's a constant 60fps. I recommend you play this on pc if you can. If not just move on. R.i.p. bf4, you were fun while you lasted.

    This Game is still Great even after 6 years!

    I played this game for 4 years straight, then sold it because I didn't have ps plus for online. Bought the game in June 2019 and wow! I was amazed that people still play it. This was EA's best Battlefield online. This was worth buying again!

    Very Pleased

    This game has a very good campaign, and multiplayer is fantastic. Be ready for some challenge though, as the maps are enormous and the physics of the game are realistic as balls! Definitely a game that could make a whole day seem like an hour!!! Would recommend to anybody that likes realistic first person shooter games.

    Best Shooter Out There

    From the tantalizing game play to the realistic battle scenes this game is on the top in my opinion. There is nothing like zeroing a sniper to 1000m to make a crazy across the map head-shot. Anyone who loves realistic battle sequences with enjoy this game.

    Not Realalistic

    No saving points like other games You screw up you got to start all over from the beginning Plus sometimes you shoot you target about a dozen time no there still alive You get hit once and your dead Start All Over In my opinion this game is stupid
