    Awesome shocks. They are not prefilled with oil so that is something to consider. Pick the oil weight according to your needs. I went with losi 17.5 weight. Happy with them. Look amazing. I would also recommend cutting a piece of qter inch rubber tubing to around 5mm to 10mm on the shock shaft resting on the collar as a bump stop to keep them from bottoming out harshly. Little trick

    Great shocks. Seem tough. Fit my 4x4 Vorteks well (when fronts are stiff enough, the front is too elevated, when body is levelled they are a bit soft) just a minor cosmetic thing. Item description is not very precise, ex. would love to be able to first chose the vehicle, then chose the colour afterwards. Some instructions for recommended quantity of oil would be nice. A variety of metal heads that you could place the factory ball joints into would make them top tier.

    Hello, The shocks turned out to be ok. except there is one important part that was left out, the rubber silicone shock diaphragm wasn't included. that is a must have. That part prevents excessive pressure and leakage.

    Arrived quickly and is what was described. I have filled with 35wt silicone shock oil and installed on my Arrma Vorteks.The stock Vorteks shocks worked great and I have had zero problems with them, but I had a bad crash into a mailbox post and ripped the left front off my Vorteks! I hoped these Big Bores would at least equal and better than stock, and they seem to be. These Big Bores look great and seem to be quality items. I have seen them on YouTube upgrade videos and that is the reason I decided to go with these Big Bores. I've run these at a great construction site nearby and I think they are better than stock shocks. I have about 2 full hours on them now and like them more each time.     Okay I guess for the money

    The ball ends and shock cap spacers are too small for the truck you have to use spacers to get a snug fit. A real nuisance to pull apart to Green slime the o ring's. I guess what do you expect for the money.

    Shocks don’t work as a shock should

    Put them on. Romped them around. Now it is rough because the shocks get stuck in full compression. They will not compress in and out. Took them apart. Worked for a bit then started to do it again. I switched back to my stock ones.
