It appears sturdy enough for occasional use and folds flat once the wheels are removed. The clevis type pins provided to secure the wheels are the weak point of the design and possibly will unspring and drop out. I replaced mine with 5mm R clips which I feel provide a more reliable means of securing the wheels and ease of removal.

Delivery guy scarpered before I could get to the door as the box was in three pieces but stands to testimony of the strength of the fishing rod as it was still somehow intact. Delivery guy also took a picture of the ground instead of package at front door. Nothing to do with seller but I think you might have a word with DPD.
