The appearance looks exactly like the pictures that were provided by the seller and the description of the condition of the lens was accurate as well, being pretty good overall.     Excellent Lens for Video and Photo

    I used both the 42.5mm 1.2 and this 1.7 version, while 1.2 gives better bokeh and sharpness but the Power OIS on that gives you micro jitter, while this one doesn't, so for video this one is actually the better of the two. Image quality wise it is not far behind the 1.2, but the size and weight difference is massive, so if you are on budget this is the one to get for portrait. the closer focus distance make it good for shooting closeup, not as good as macro lens but better than other 45mm/42.5mm lens.

    Great image, great stabilization.

    Great image, fairly fast aperture at a good price. I have several Lumix lenses, the 25mm F1.7, the 12-32, but I wanted a fast portrait lens, and combined with my GH5's stabilization, this lens is a dream to shoot photos and to film with. Focus by wire leaves a little to be desired, but that's my only qualm with this lens.

    A No Brainer for Lumix Users

    I was very happy to have gotten this lens after a year of thinking I would have to shell out close to $1000 to find a native Lumix lens for portraits. For a much lower price (less than $300), this lens is quite sharp and gives a lot for both photos and videos. It is also incredibly small and portable , comes with both a lens hood and a bag. Its an excellent lens that really highlights Micro 4/3 portability.
