No Such Thing as Too Much Perry
If you love Perry Mason this is for you. I've seen all these episodes multiple times over the years, but I still love them. And there are so many that by the time you get to the end, you're ready to start over. I love the main characters so much, the flimsy storylines don't bother me. I just want to see Perry, Della, Paul, Lt. Tragg, and Burger do their thing. And another reason I love the series so much is the backdrop of 50s and 60s Los Angeles. Love the cars, the buildings, and the whole different atmosphere of L.A. in that time period. I've only made it through the first three seasons since my discs arrived, but I've noticed that each season seems to have been packaged slightly differently and the menus are sometimes in different formats. Not a problem, just an ... If you love Perry Mason this is for you. I've seen all these episodes multiple times over the years, but I still love them. The one problem I've had is that sometimes the picture suddenly turns sepia and stays that way for awhile, then usually returns to the traditional tv style black and white. I don't think it's a problem with the DVD itself, but rather the original source from which the DVD was copied. I doubt anyone thought that the TV show was going to live on for another 60+ years and the technology back then wasn't very sophisticated. So no surprise there are a few technical issues. I recommend this set to anyone who is a died in the wool Perry fan. The packaging and quality is very high and you'll be able to enjoy this wonderful show for the rest of your life. : )

GREAT SERIES
If you like the late fifties and early sixties black and white TV series, you will enjoy this set. It's my go to entertainment when regular TV has poor broadcasting. All the episodes are entertaining and quite enjoyable. I like to compare different scenes throughout the series to see what changes and what remains the same. Perry always had a new car every season along with Paul Drake. Love to see what they drive in each episode. Bottom Line: You won't be disappointed. We love Perry Mason!
Now we can watch ALL of the episodes whenever we want. We highly recommend Perry Mason to everyone, especially to those who love mysteries, courtroom drama, & great acting. Columbo, Matlock, Murder She Wrote, ALL use tactics first used by Mason. Raymond Burr, Barbara Hale, William Hopper, William Talman, Ray Collins, Wesley Lau, & Richard Anderson bring Erle Stanley Gardner's characters to life.

Original and best law show
Perry Mason is the original and best legal/law show. All the others pale in comparison. The film noir, sexy soundtrack, fun plots, and a look back at what was happening in the 50's and 60's makes for a very enjoyable experience.

Perry Mason never gets old
It has the only color episode made on season 9 and Barbara Hale explaining why they did it. But I am not going to tell you. I don't like the color episode. I love the black and white best. Don't know why but it puts that episode with the later stuff that sucked when he tried to revisit the Perry Mason series in the 80s and 90s
