Easy to install. Not as confusing as it looks.
Researched this concept for a long time. All instructions, videos, always showed a tank that wasn't like the one on my 2002 Winnebago Brave. They always show the T unit attached to the bleed valve. Winnebago put on a separate bleed and feed valves. I found that the feed valve had the POL (propane tank) connection and the installation was easy. The most difficult part was removing the connection from the valve. After 17 years, it was quite stuck and I had to use a box end wrench and hit it with a hammer to get it to move. I did use another wrench to hold the valve. If you want to install this, remember that the tank connector has LEFT HAND threads which means the usual "loosen it" twist direction (counter clock wise) will actual tighten it so try to "tighten" the connector and it will come off. Reassembly order quickly became obvious as the only flexible connector is the POL. The T has a POL male on one end and that goes into the place where the original was removed. The original POL goes into the other end of the T which has some very large threads on it but the inside of that is threaded to accept the POL I reassembled the fittings to the regulator and installed the T on the POL connector then attached the T POL fitting to the tank valve. I did use yellow pipe fitting paste (for gas lines) on all threads and did not have any leaks after the installation was finished. When attaching the T to the regulator, be sure to properly position it with the auxiliary ports facing the outside before tightening. After installation and leak check I attached the 12' hose to the T and to my grill. The grill fired up so the installation apparently was successful. We live full time in the RV so this will make our long time stays much easier because we can attach a portable tank to the T and easily take that to an outlet for refilling thus eliminating the need to move the coach. An excellent investment and worth the effort to install. As I said, once the original connector was removed, and that took about an hour, then the rest of the installation took about 20 minutes.
Check the picture. Note the regulator attached to the vale in the upper left but the fill bleed valve is in the middle, just left of the fill port.
