had 1 of these installed in my home after suffering years of bad reception (done by professionals) got the name of the booster amplifier from them and purchased it from you for a static caravan after setting it up reading all the instructions on the tv aerial (i knew what i was doing) no signal tried turning the small gain screw inside the box all to no avail, after another 3 hours of up and down a ladder got totally fed up took this item of my aerial and got original signal back (there was no signal whatsoever when this box was on the mast and the other boxed plugged in at the main and yes aerial cables and plugs tested and retested until my hands were bleeding and when i tried to call your firm for some after sales advice i received no answer and after several more attempts to contact you with no success i just gave up the ghost and am now left with an expensive amplifier thats totally useless to me if you had a technical help line or even some that could give a bit of advice that may have helped but all in all i am a very dissatisfied customer,i thought about contacting ebay for my money back guarantee but i was so fed up and could not be bothered the bottom line is as far as i'm concerned is technical help or an answering machine so you can call the customer back. DID NOT WANT TO GIVE YOU ANY STARS BUT I COULD NOT SUBMIT THIS MESSAGE UNTIL I DID
Well put together amplifier and power supply. Masthead amp seals tight and appears weatherproof. Has an adjustable gain dial so you can adjust gain depending on the level of amplification you require or the amount of interference you're receiving.
Easy to install but you will have to modify your antenna cable to accept F-Type fittings in and out of the mast head amplifier. I recommend compression terminals for which you'll need a decent compression crimper. Practice on the ground with some spare cable before you climb the roof!
