High quality
Bought this for use on my bedside HD weapon. Extremely easy to mount and actuate while gripping at the ready. Had just the light pointed at me in near darkness, turn on and it tool at least 12 seconds to begin to see again. Will easily temporarily blind someone. Also, it's so bright you can clearly identify a target and what's behind it. The only downside is it is not inexpensive.

Surefire X300U-B
Phenomenal light! Bright and as described! Can light up an entire room. Can be seen during the day. If outside a structure furring the day and you are peering into a dark structure it can still cast the light into the building from outside. Has a far enough throw for a pistol or an “pistol length” carbine. Attaches quick and securely. Extremely rugged. Come in box with a light, 2 batteries, other products pamphlet, user manual/warranty info pamphlet, and some parts and a sticker if your into that sort of thing.

Absolutely the Best LED Weaponlight available!
If you have not used a Surefire weapon light you owe it to yourself to try one! The quality is second to none and the light output is incredible... there is only one niggling drawback. While other manufactures have a light-action switch that allows the light to be switched to steady operation by pressing the switch one direction and switched to momentary operation by pressing the switch in the other direction. In contrast, the Surefire switch turns the light to steady burn by pressing the switch in both directions. This doesn't sound like a big deal until you try to use Surefire's momentary operation, which requires the switch to be pressed forward. This would not be a problem except that the switch is very stiff and can make it difficult to hold the gun on target. This is my second Surefire X300 weapon light and when I bought the first one I thought maybe the switch just needed to be used to loosen up, or maybe it was just my light that had the problem, but my original light never loosened up (another example of Surefire's quality) and the new one feels just like the first one. I'm use to it now so it's not as irritating, but if this is your first Surefire light it may take some getting used to. Having said that, I would not trade this light for any of the other products available... such is the quality and performance of this weaponlight!

SureFire X300 Ultra LED Weapon Light
Top notch quality and warranty program. I have used one on LE duty shotgun for 12 years without any issues. Purchase 2nd one from Ebay to mount on duty patrol rifle to replace other 2 piece light system (separate mount and flash light). Top notch illumination and easy bi-direction switch or you can install SureFire remote switch.

Like a mini sun, insanely far throw & brightness
Feels very sturdy, attaches to gun easily and has no wiggle at all when tightened down. Will light up a football field its insane. Only downside is finding a comfortable AIWB light-bearing holster for it. Sticks out pretty far on a glock 19

Tough, Super Bright, Looks Good Too - Highly Recommend
I have no fear of this thing tearing up with normal use. Some people question weather this light is too bright, but its not. The "constant on" controls are slightly stiff but I really like the "momentary on" (push forward) feature. Plus it looks really good on my Dan Wesson Specialist. I paid just under $190, can't go wrong here.

solid light, no complaints has a great beam with good spill and rock solid new mounting. Costs 2x as much as streamlight but its top quality. I put it on a Sig p226 legion as streamlight said their lights would damage it. if your on the fence buy it. best price ive found.

High quality bright light
The SureFire X300 Utra is one bright light. The on/off switch is pretty stiff if you use it to turn the light on. Using a light on a firearm, one seldom turns the light steady on, you usually need to turn it on intermittently in short bursts. Intermittent "on" is achieved by pushing the button forward toward the front of the gun when it's mounted on the gun. Turning the light on by simply pushing down the switch with your support hand is much easier then trying to flip or manipulate a switch during a high stress situation. This is a quality light, not cheap but worth the money

Great flashlight; Amazing brightness!
This light is top notch, and sure to please anyone looking for a bright light for home protection or even duty use. This light is blinding at 500 lumens, but it comes at a cost. You only get. 1.5 hours of battery life before the batteries need to be replaced. The batteries certainly are not cheap! All in all though, this a great light and was worth what I paid for it.

The Apex Predator of weapon lights
This light is like holding the power of the sun in your hands. 1000 lumens on a handgun or long gun is PLENTY of power! The light locks up solid on my SIG P226 Legion, and does the job!
