Lighter than the 4-XLR, but Lacking Safety Considerations
What can I say? It gets the job done. It's nice that it has color coding for the left and right channels, and it's not as obscenely bulky as the 4-cable breakout.
Of course, relying on a proprietary LEMO cable in the first place is messed up practice, but that aside, the build quality is fine. Only disappointment is that I feel a 90º LEMO would fare much better with durability and damage mitigation, very similar to the one sold by Alvin's.
If I were you, I'd buy the one from Alvin's, and then color code them yourself! It'll be half the price and a bit safer to use on set!
