Product Information

Japanese developer Cave offers fans of fast-paced side-scrolling shooters a chance to guide four coquettish angels through swarms of demonic monsters in Deathsmiles: Limited Edition. With the gates of hell opening up and demons pouring into the kingdom of Gilverado from all directions, gamers must weave though high-velocity webs of enemy fire while battling an assortment of powerful monsters. Players choose from Windia, Casper, Follett, and Rosa, and then blast their way through the swarm to earn tokens and life points. There are three different difficulty levels that allow schmup fans to adjust the bullet count and boss difficulty, and gamers can save replays of their own favorite runs. Xbox Live subscribers can also download replays of the top 20 scoring runs from the leaderboards, or join a friend for two-player co-op action. The "Limited Edition" includes a decorative Xbox 360 faceplate and a 15-song "Premium Arrange Album" soundtrack.

Hard in all the right ways
I was looking for a shoot em up game as a present for a good friend who is a streamer (ADDgamer on Facebook) and this one came highly rated on my research on SHMUPS. He received it and loved the graphics, the scrolling backgrounds, and felt that it is a game that really aged well. Glad this game exists!

Hell yeah. I love shootemups, and this game is amazing, and great on the xbox 360. Another games to add to my collection!
