No More Check Engine Light!!
It does seem to make a difference having a Hyundai manufactured gas cap. I had tried two other aftermarket gas caps and the check engine light stayed on. The Hyundai gas cap only cost a few dollars more, and was definitely worth it! Just as a note, it can take several days or a week for the check engine light to go off, because the OBD2 computer has to cycle a certain number of times. Addendum 7-14-2023: I used this gas cap for about 3 weeks. Guess what, the check engine light came back on. This was the fifth gas cap I had purchased in the last year. My next step was to use a heavy cloth to clean the flange of the fuel tank filler, and lubricated the seal of the gas cap with petroleum jelly. It worked, the check engine light went back off. I'm guessing that I've been buying old stock with older drier seals, or maybe the fuel tank filler flange was dirty. Well it's been a good learning experience.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

no more light
My check engine light came on and we couldn't find out why. We replaced this cap and --pop-- it went off after one tank full of gas. I guess the seal on these things goes out after a while letting air in the tank. Hyundai OEM fuel cap
Perfect fit, works great. Fits my Tucson and Santa Fe. Best to purchase the OEM fuel cap, because some of the computer system reads pressure build up in the fuel tank, which gives the fuel mileage readout and keeps the CK engine light out.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

GREAT OEM replacement

I like it
