also better than Samsung DeX dock for the phone
one day when I forgot to bring my laptop, I took a chance plugging my Samsung Galaxy S10e into the Dell thunderbolt docking station to see if it would work, and behold! Samsung devices have a feature called "DeX" which makes it basically a computer, filling a monitor, using mouse/keyboard, wired ethernet, USB drives, etc. Samsung sells docks for the purpose, but I haven't had the desire for one enough to pay the prices they want. And, at least for most of the ones I looked at, they don't charge the phone through the cable, but some of them include a wireless charging pad. Well, this Dell thunderbolt laptop docking station, with USB-C laptop cable, plugs right in and works, EVEN CHARGING THE PHONE. Aside from doing everything it promises for the laptop, the reason I bought it in the first place, I now have a better Samsung DeX dock than Samsung sells! Yay!

Dell docking station for up to 4 external monitors.
It is a good product. I have one that is about 5 years old. Bought this because I have 2 computers in my home office. I have three 4 K monitors on each system using the Display Port and an HDMI. I'm sure there are more up to date docking stations. This does everything I need.

A one-cable solution.
I initially bought this as a way to have a one-cable USB-C connection for my HP Envy X360. It works perfectly for that, and also for my Surface Laptop 3. In both cases, one connection supplies power and connects me to a slew of other devices. My one concern was that the cable was on the short side, but I was able to get a USB-C extension (certified for power delivery) and now everything works! Well worth the money!

great but miss labeled
dock works great , does every thing i needed it to do, one thing about the product i don't like is the dock was advertised as a wd19tb but was a wd19tbs ,wd19tbs does not have an audio out

Computer could not find the Dock
My original Dell WD19 (which was great) got hit with an electrical surge. So I purchased this used one on eBay. It did not work. My computer said it could not find the docking station when I plugged it in. Luckily, the power supply module from my old dock was not the cause of its failure from the storm. I swapped it with the one I purchased on eBay. The dock is working great now.

It is very good with that price.
In most time, it works good but it has happened couple times when I started the laptop it couldn't configured the dock correctly. However, with this price I have no problem.

If you have a Del and need a good docing station this is the one.
This doc worked great on my Work Dell where other universal doc's did not.
