huge array of design choices make this a very special kit.
revell makes great model kits that are relatively easy to build, well detailed, and bring classy style to what sometimes become cliche subject matter. this kit brings a cool new take on street rod themed model kits with some cool and different engine options, two distinctively different frame/ body configurations, and combines this with classic decals to give your build a classic, yet edgie look. you have many choices affordrd to you to create your own expression of your dream rod. the big and little tires are fantastic and look very authentic. decals allow you to make them "wide whites" if you desire. even the grille shell has options to choose from. there are two completely different interior themes available. these choices are what make this a really special kit.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

One of the best Hot Rod Models.
Good detail, but for a Hot Rod of this vintage it should have a 32 Ford grill shell and a flat head engine option would be a plus. A stock height top would make it top of the line.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

The best street rod kit ever produced? Maybe
This kit is excellent. I’ve been crazy about cars since i was a toddler. Been building kits since 1972. Now I had the 1929 roadster version made by Revell. It was impressive but honestly the Chevy engine took away from the kit IMO. It definitely had a more 60’s- 70’s vibe compared to the more classic 50’s style of the car. That’s just my opinion. But this kit with its 3 duece Buick nailhead V8 and the optional stripped interior and bomber seats this kit is postwar mid 50’s perfect. The steelies are super detailed. The optional low or highboy stances. It gives a builder the chance to assemble a well proportioned genuine “hotrod “. Best way to tell is look at cars from the Hot Rod movies of the day, especially “Ghost of Dragstrip Hollow”. Problems like flash and sink marks ? I saw nothing with the kit I got.
