Excellent laser distance measure that is easy to use and carry
The Dewalt compact laser measure, DW055PL is an easy to use and easy to carry electronic tape measure. The only "limitation" is that it only measures out to 55'. Working in residential indoors, the 55' has never been an issue. DW055PL is very convenient as it carries well in the shirt pocket and is very light. Their are times you need to take multiple measurements and the DW055PL makes it easy and fast; I just pull the DW055PL out and measure distances to measure room sizes, distances to furniture and equipment racks. What used to take several minutes with a normal tape measure (walk to end point, find a point to hook point, walk back while trying not to unhook, then unhook) now takes seconds.
