Beautifully presented book and a pleasure to use. Great book for beginners and intermediate readers.
A good size, not too heavy and well laid out with colour images of each card in the upper left hand side of the page, so the book is easy to flick through to find the cards you are specifically looking for. Then on the same double page a detailed description of the card's symbols and meaning. Easy to follow and the author takes a common sense approach to her card meanings. She also writes about the reverse meanings of each card, which many other books leave out. There is a bit of history too about many of the individual cards which is interesting, even for more advanced readers and she touches on chakras and tree of life pathways for each card, which will be interesting when I finally learn about these things, so this book will be useful even when I am a more advanced reader.

Comprehensive and User Friendly
This is definitely great for beginners. It is comprehensive yet user friendly, well set out with just enough information supplied for each tarot card without being overwhelming. Helps bring each card alive and makes it easy to remember. Great examples and guides for layouts and beautifully illustrated. I highly recommend.

Packed with information
I'm a beginner tarot reader, and I have found almost all the answers to my questions in this book! If you were only able to buy one book about tarot, I would recommend this one!
