Star Lord Vers. 1
While I like the idea & the actual figure of Star Lord version 1. It is a very strong likeness to the original movie character. Better details on the construction of the buttons/ sequins on the long coat should have been researched & done better. YES, HT does actually add a few extra in with the figure set. But, That just shows that they too are aware of a small problem with how they produced the item. That said, This is probably my only detraction from a really nice looking figure set. The likeness was strong, the types of equipment/ items in the set pretty much cover the whole gambit of who & what the character was all about. To the small walkman player to the lighted helmet & of course his trusty blaster weapons. The fact that his long coat was already in need of repair/ upgrading since the character's introduction adds a bit more reality to it as well. But, OH.... Unbelievable Quality and Detail
Everything about this figure just puts it among the very best of Hot Toys' Movie Masterpiece series. The detail and workmanship are top notch. This figure has so many (great) options for how to display it - masked, unmasked, weapons, that orb, a tiny walkman with that awesome tape in it...
