No backlight on the phone
You can’t see who’s calling on this phone, there’s no backlight, no time or date display unless you lift the receiver.!! It’s not nearly as good as the older model. Sturdily made with basic functions

Attractive, Easy to use and Solid
Clear display, and intuitive menus. I populated the Number directory without recourse to any instructions, which says something. Good clear sound through the earpiece also. Nice and simple to use and the big buttons feel good when pressed. Four batteries needed for the menu functions - I removed and reinstalled them to check that all the numbers stayed put, and they did. Corded telephone.
