One of the great Love story of all times
Movie company tried over the many years to make a movie like Waterloo Bridge but did not come close because of the great acting by Robert Taylor and Vivian Leigh and above all the great Love Story which makes this movie one of the great Love Story of all times I saw this movie when I was a teenager and for many years seek to find it until now

Waterloo Bridge - is an appropriate title after the well known book.
What makes this film is the brilliant performance of Vivien Leigh as Myra. This was her first film after "GONE WITH THE WIND"..She had wanted Sir Lawrence Olivier to play the part of her fiancée Captain Roy. But instead Hollywood directors from Warner Brothers cast Robert Taylor who was not at all convincing as having come from Scottish nobility with an American accent! Other actors in the film gave creditable performances.

A Must Own DVD
A wonderful timeless story of British life and survival during WWI with tender portrayals by cast. Vivien Leigh is poignant and ever beautiful here.

emotional roller coaster
A fantastic movie about two people who meet during an air raid in England. The quickly fall in love and Vivian Lee risks every thing to be with Robert Taylor. They are soon separated by war and Vivian has to make some hard moral decisions to survive.
