Clochemerle DVD
I watched this series many years ago and thought that one day it might become a classic. I eve purchased the DVD when it eventually became available. I have misplaced that copy amongst my large collection of DVDs so I purchased another. Meanwhile Clochemerle has become a classic and prices of the DVD have begun to rise. This particular seller offered the best price so that my purchase was automatic. I think the run time is 240 minutes so it is best watched over a couple days. The plot is unusual and puts me in mind of a storyline found in 'Allo, Allo'. The French setting and period are both intriguing and very funny.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Lovely Drama-Comedy
Lovely Drama-Comedy with some great characters, wonderfully narrated by Peter Ustinov, It was shot by the BBC on grainy 16mm film which adds to the period feel. However, the films picked up a quite bit of dirt prior to the telecine transfer and the opportunity to electronically remove it was missed for this release.
