Easy substitute for concrete pad.
We wanted a pad to use under our new Softub in the basement. This met all of our requirements by raising the tub off the concrete floor and being relocatable so that we could move the hot tub to a new location in the basement or even outside. The Handi-Pad acts as a bit of insulation keeping the tub off the concrete. If we could make one improvement it would be to make the pads so that they could be connected at right angles. It would allow us to build our a corner rather than just having a square or rectangle.We wanted a pad to use under our new Softub in the basement. This product arrived quickly but had several issues. First, there was a split in the plastic in one particular spot. Secondly, it was impossible to place the plastic brackets that hold the 3 pieces together. They did not fit snugly and would fall out each time the unit was moved. With all that said, we did get it to work (after some yelling at each other). Our hot tub is oval shaped and fits well on the unit. So far so good. The product is made up of good materials. The only downfall is that purchasing the item be sure to purchase to four and 8 x 8 area which will cost you nearly $400
