Synopsis
For any level course that deals with visual arts (art studio, painting sculpting, collage, drawing, graphic arts, or history, architecture, communications, film and theater.) Written in a reader-friendly style interlaced with vivid examples, this text details a comprehensive and concise methodology for the writing that students in the visual arts and those entering the professional world encounter academic papers, resumes, letters of application, manifestos, press releases, and grants. Emphasizes that students' (or professionals') art, in itself, will not always speak for them, and that both students and professionals must, therefore, learn to articulate their concepts and ideas, and to argue for, and earn, their place in the world of art., Written in a reader-friendly style interlaced with vivid examples, this how-to writing manual for visual artists details a comprehensive and concise methodology for the full spectrum of writing tasks they will encounter in both the academic and professional worlds--academic research papers, resumes, letters of application, manifestos, press releases, and grants. It emphasizes that professionals' art, in itself, will not always speak for them, and that they must, therefore, learn to articulate their concepts and ideas, and to argue for, and earn, their place in the world of art. Abundant examples (of stages of document development and complete documents) represent amateur as well as professional sources and an exceptionally full spectrum of visual art--painting, sculpting, collage, drawing, graphic arts, architecture, film, and theater. - r***c (1652)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzte 6 MonateBestätigter KaufUnfortunately for both of us the item was lost in transit. But seller provided excellent service and was very responsive. Issued a full refund right away when I brought the issue to his attention. The USPS is at fault here as they failed to track the item once in their possession. NOT THE SELLER'S FAULT. Seller was A+ throughout the transaction and had great prices. I highly recommend. The Dahlgren Affair: Terror and Conspiracy in the Civil War (Nr. 326483517868)
- a***1 (909)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzte 6 MonateBestätigter KaufFast shipping, item as described, however the packaging was not suitable for mailing a CD. It was luck that the CD was not damaged in transit. There was nothing to protect the CD from being crushed or bent in the mail, all it had was a thin plastic bag. I was considering giving the seller a neutral rating for the way he packed the item, but decided not to, because I didn't wanted to lower the seller's rating , and other than the packaging I have no other complaints with this order.Maria Tanase Greatest Hits (Nr. 326483481439)
- n***e (1528)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzte 6 MonateBestätigter KaufSeller shipped, but USPS didn't scan item on pickup, so we never received the item, but the seller immediately issued a full refund and apologized for something out of their control. Would buy again due to prompt communication and honesty. Obviously we didn't rate the item.
