The player can live as any of the three main characters: Michael De Santa, Franklin Clinton, and Trevor Philips. Each man has his own backstory and reasons for being where he is. Each man also has unique abilities, such as bullet time, slowing down time while driving his vehicle, or dealing out extra damage. These can be activated with special meters while driving a vehicle or in combat. Like other GTA games, Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto V for the Xbox 360 is an open-world adventure that players can explore at their leisure. You can choose one of the three different protagonists for a single-player mission in Los Santos. Each mission in Grand Theft Auto V has a focus on heists. This is appropriate and fits the game’s theme of chasing the almighty American dollar. This game also has a multiplayer online mode. Using it, up to 30 players can explore the world, engage in co-op, or compete in competitive matches. Make friends, and find new enemies among the GTA and Xbox 360 fan base. Xbox 360 Grand Theft Auto 5 Platinum Replacement
I bought this as a replacement for an original that was broke by my grandson. Finding a replacement was difficult because most other postings for the game show the right picture and write up for the platinum edition but what you get is the standard edition game. When I got this one in the mail and saw that the right upper Platinum logo was missing I thought that again I had received the standard edition. Turning it over I noticed that the disc was marked ‘Made in Germany’. According to Play asia most of the Grand Theft Auto Games versions are region free unless it was made in Japan. Loading the game I was able to get to a certain point and then was asked for a log in code. Looking on you tube I was able to find a solution to fix this problem and now the game works perfectly. Great fun for my son and I.
We often pass controller back and forth during each segment. My wife, who doesn't play the game commented on how similar one of the characters is to an actor in The Walking Dead series. We found out that it is the same person, just a different name in the game. Lots of fun, destruction, good music and commentary. Helps to relieve the stress of everyday life. You can do things in the game, that wouldn't be acceptable in real life. If you haven't played it yet, get it. I was getting so sick of Alien and futuristic games. This is the one an only game my boys wanted. Bought an older xboxc360 from ebay to use as player. Package includes 2 disks. 1 install disk, 1 play disk. Other then initial loading time on older machine, which only has 20gb hard drive. The game proforms smoothly. Graphis are great. The disk is "R" rated. Has a lot of nasty laguage during playback. Otherwise pleased with purchase.

Best GTA game. Ever!
From the beginning, the story draws you in immediately. No more watching a cut scene story, now you are part of it. Graphics are absolutely stunning. So realistic, it actually looks almost real and lifelike. The characters in the game are no longer just linear, there is a whole world going on around you and you are one person in this whole fantastic universe of GTA that Rockstar has created. I am so pleased with this game for the XBox 360 console. The developers have gone above and beyond my wildest expectations for this game. They have also done away with the lag on loading screens and the jerkiness of game play that was in past GTA games. I am quite impressed. Absolutely amazing what they have done on a platform with ageing hardware and software. I am a bit sad they removed some things ... From the beginning, the story draws you in immediately. I am a bit sad they removed some things like Vigilante, because I am intrigued what that would have been like in this version. However, by removing many of the lengthy side missions, GTA has now become what it was always meant to be. Love the weapon wheel and how you can keep ALL your weapons and no longer have to pick and choose what to swap out. Miss the Pay-N-Spray, and no more police bribes. They have saved me so many times. However, the custom shops more than make up for that. All the vehicles have gotten a makeover as well. Very nice. Also, they have brought garages back discontinued in GTA iv. So many garages, so many more spaces. Thank you for that, guys. Can never have enough personal vehicles. BTW, the cops are no longer wussies, so watch out!!! And the add-on packs are a great bonus. Would like to see San Fiero and Las Venturas added on at some point, kind of like how 'The Ballad of Gay Tony" was an add-on to GTA iv. Or add Vice City as an expansion pack, or as GTA vi. Anyway, a must-have for any serious fan of the GTA series or player. Keep up the great work, Rockstar!

Another hit in the GTA series!
GTA games always seem to be way ahead of the power curve... I've never disliked any of them. Some are better than other, yes, but none of them are so bad you don't want to finish them. Excellent graphics, voice acting, game play, content, you name it... Top notch game through and through. I give it 95% out of 100% and 5 out of 5 stars. Keep the hits coming Rockstar!!!
