Would not hold the cams....
I have a Jeep Liberty CRD with a dual overhead cam engine. The spokes of the sprockets were too deeply recessed for the pins of the clamp to catch. In order to replace the water pump which is behind the rear gear cover, the sprockets have to be removed and then remounted after. Its a friction fit so the bolts have to be tightened to 80 ft lbs. There was no way at all that this clamp was going to hold the cams for re-tightening. I ended up using a 2x4 board with long bolts to reach into the holes of the sprockets to hold them. Lisle Cam Lock Tool Part Number 36880
We're changing the timing belt and water pump on a four cam v-6. I've done this before without the proper tools to hold the camshafts in place and it's a difficult job. We needed two Lisle 36880's for this engine. When used according to directions the 36880 cam holder locks the camshafts in place so the timing belt can be properly installed around the crankshaft and all four cams. If you're doing timing belt replacement on a twin cam inline engine or a four cam v-6 this will be the best tool for holding the camshafts.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
