    Compelling contents and easy read, not shallow

    Its a great mix of stories, which I usually do not like in an information laden book, and substance, ie, real data. Its definitely written to understand the what why when where and how, in layman's terms, the thyroid works but also sufficient in medical terms that, if you are really wanted, you could pursue in an in depth medical study of the thyroid. Its easy to apply to symptoms you might have as well as compelling for second guessing the doctor who might be dealing with you, that the doctor may not be going far enough.
