Much easier owning
We had been renting. But with a rental you are less comfortable making adjustments. The rental became dangerous for out 103 year old mother, tilting her toward the edge and a potential fall, so we discontinued. Several months--and a problem bedsore later--we saw that we could purchase our own for less than two months rental. Owning gave us more freedom to tweak placement and strength and consequently we have had none of the previous complaints that the mattress was uncomfortable. The sliding toward the edge of bed has reduced considerably so that we no longer fear a fatal tumble. We were stunned that we could save money by owning, having anticipated a much more prohibitive investment. And we appreciate the psychological freedom to become better acquainted with the equipment. A great tool if you have sore spots after waking up in the mornings.
Pressure relief mattress and bed pad systems prevent pressure ulcers, commonly called bed sores or pressure sores, by dispersing pressure away from bone protrusions via alternating pressure. Most systems utilize air chambers in their mattresses or pads. This one has 130 individual bubble cells and quiet pump technology alternately inflates and deflates the air cells for maximum comfort and effectiveness. The pump produces 4 LPM of consistent air flow and pressure over a 5 minute cycle time. Variable pressure setting on deluxe pump allows comfort setting for maximum comfort and compliance. Built-in bracket for mounting easily to bed. Pad Dimensions: 78"(L) x 36"(W) x 2.5"(H); Weight Capacity: 300 lbs. Hope this is helpful. I've been using this pad for a few weeks and it makes a big ... Good for light wieght people
The bad thing about this is that some of the bubbles stay inflated all the time so it makes unconvertible for a person like me large upper body and very light legs it does not support me at all when I sit up it the bed I go down all the way to the mattress and my legs stay up..

This is an excellent product if your loved one has bed sores or to prevent bed sores. Was a life saver after my father fractured his pelvic bone in an assisted living home. We moved him home after a short stint at the VA hospital and is doing great. Had this mattress at VA and we purchased one for him to have at home he loves it! Also loves being out of the $6,000 a month assisted living and back at home with a live in CNA!!!This is an excellent product if your loved one has bed sores or to prevent bed sores. OMG. My mom had pressure sores from hospital stays. I put the mattress on and in just s few days, with the aid of creams, and the air in the mattress, they are just about healed..Thank you, thank you thank you.
