If you thought farm animals could not help one escape inevitable damnation, then you are in for a rude shock when you witness a group of animals coming together to develop a brilliant plan to raise enough money to save the farm. This rib-cracking Disney animation 'Home on the Range', features a greedy outlaw cattle rustler, Alameda Slim, who sets his eye on a little piece of a blissful family farm. Quickly, three determined cows, an agile karate-kicking stallion, and an army of courageous farm animals team up to capture Slim and collect the bounty on his head. However, this will not be a joy ride adventure for the animals, as a deadly bounty hunter is also out to capture Slim. The hilarious scenes and original songs written by the sensational composer Alan Menken will leave you at the edge of your seat hoping the film never ends.

    Items arrived exceptionally well-packed, and quickly. The tapes appear to be in perfect condition. The package had a bit of a perfume smell (I've got a sensitive nose), but a little alcohol wipe took care of that, no problem. I mean, they were REALLY well-packed; I had to chew (well, cut) through several layers of packaging. If only every seller took the time to make sure stuff was protected like these tapes were.

    Hilarious, Heartwarming, Exciting and Lovely.

    I love my Home on the Range - Disney (DVD, 2004)!! I think all the characters are hilarious! I like how excited Buck the stallion is about wearing Rico's saddle on his back. I also like Pearl and her farm, Patch of Heaven, the way all the animals dance happily together doing their chores. I would love a farm exactly like Patch of Heaven. Lucky Jack (the rabbit) and the Willy brothers are funny, lovable and heartwarming characters in the movie that make me smile and laugh. I also love the music and songs in the movie as well because they are about love, friendship and hope.

    Poorly Animated Livestock .

    Another Disney animated cartoon showing just how weak the productions are without Walt and staff. The story is overly manic at times and the characters are lacking charisma; many seem misplaced completely. The cow with the hat and British accent is so very out of place in the Old West.The worst part of the animation is the drawing of all the cows ( and the one horse ).Their mouths and noses have a star-like shape with points that makes the viewer take time to even realize that they are cows. Another is large but has a child-like voice. It's somewhat bizarre. Included is a crazy rabbit ( like the March Hare ?) who is hard to follow and again misplaced in a Western. The cowboys yodeling is fun but overdone. Skip this poorly done effort . Want to see that Disney Magic ? Go watch "The Sword ...

    Well thought out, excellent development, great music. Just an all around great feel to it ...and very entertaining. An excellent value and a great add to our grandkids library.
