This monitor works well whether shooting action on the soccer field or snapping photos of your child's birthday party activities. The camera's high ISO sensitivity lets it capture your photos, even in low-light conditions or on cloudy days. Thanks to the camera's USB connectivity, you can connect it to your PC to store and archive your pictures. This Canon EOS T3i DSLR camera was released by Canon in 2012 and sports a sleek black body with an easy-to-hold grip. When focusing this Canon DSLR, you can choose to do so with the autofocus feature or manual focus. The autofocus technology offered with this Canon T3i camera provides eight modes that ensure great image quality. Some of these include live view, face detection, phase detection, and contrast detection. With the inclusion of an LP-E8 rechargeable battery in these DSLR cameras, it should take about 450 photos between charges. The camera weighs just 1.25 pounds, making it easy to carry around on long photo shoots. The EF-S lens with these DSLR cameras is a standard zoom lens with a 3x optical zoom and 10x digital zoom. In general, this Canon EOS T3i camera is compatible with all Canon EF and EF-S lenses. The specific IS II lens that comes with this device has a focal range of 18mm to 55mm. These focal lengths allow you to use this EOS Rebel digital camera for any type of photography. External memory is allowed with the Canon T3i. The camera itself is compatible with SD, SDHC, and SDXC flash memory. The built-in flash has a quick sync speed of 1/200 of a second. Whether a beginner or advanced photographer, you'll likely deal with a range of lighting situations. To account for this, the ISO range in this system extends from 100 to 6,400, though it's expandable to 12,800. When you wish to control the metering of this EOS Rebel kit, you can do so through any of four modes. These metering settings include partial, multi, spot, and center-weighted. While this Canon T3i camera with an 18mm to 55mm lens was designed for photography, it can also be used to shoot video. You can easily switch to video mode with the LCD screen. Any video you shoot when entering this mode is captured in full HD 1080P and saved in the h.264 format. Any photo you capture is automatically saved in the standard JPEG format. Whenever you wish to connect this Canon Rebel camera to your HDTV, you can do so via the mini-HDMI port. The shutter speed for this device ranges from 30 seconds at minimum and 1/4000 of a second at max. When you wish to change the exposure of these Canon EOS cameras, you can do so either through automatic or manual mode.

Listed as "new/old stock unused" but box had wear so item is "good used condition". Would use seller again but needs to strengthen item description

    Great for Shutterbugs with Video

    I had a similar Canon model, the KissX before this camera. I love this. It takes really lovely images and is easy enough to use with the P function, but you can take it to another level of control with M function. The video is great, but it does not auto-focus, so you need to do that yourself. I chose this one over the next version that has auto-focus because I heard that the lens adjustment made such a loud noise that it took away from the sound quality overall. I don't mind being manual on that.

    Canon t3i review

    A good quality camera that would be good for just about any use. This is not a little shirt pocket camera, so the controls are easy to get too. At 18 mega pixels the picture quality is really good from what I have seen so far. Canon makes many types of lens that can be fitted to this camera if another type is needed. Just the body of the camera cab be purchased cheaper and sometimes found new.

    Canon Rebel T3i Camera 18MP---Complex but simple too.

    The Canon Rebel T3i camera is an excellent DSLR camera. It is complex while being easy to navigate through the various menu items. It helps to have an operators manual (if you do not have one they can be downloaded online) I have tried it with four different Canon EF lenses (Two IS and two non IS) in different modes as well as a Tamron Adaptall lens and a Nikon non-AI lens with adapters in manual focus mode. The auto focus feature is great. It is easy to focus in manual mode either through the viewfinder or in live view mode. The ease of connecting this camera to a computer and transfering images is a nice feature. You can then use different photo editing programs with the images, which can be either in jpeg or raw format. The Rebel series is also quite good for video filming. I ...

    Amazing camera

    I absolutely love my camera and it has amazing quality!! The only difficult part is getting used to shooting in manual! Other than that the photos came out gorgeously!!

    Great quality and easy to use

    I'm am not very camera savvy, however, with lots of help from pinterest posts I have managed to learn all the features of the camera and my pictures look AMAZING! This is my first camera so I can't really make a lot of comparisons but after thorough research, this is one of the top beginner cameras. If you are looking for a beginner camera, I would highly recommend this one as well. It was a little bit overwhelming at first with all the buttons and different features, but I did my research and now it is easy to use. I have already bought my first lens and plan on buying a few more!
