NotesANDREW GOODSIGHT is the bassist for the popular Irish rock group Black 47. He is the co-writer and producer of the album 'There Will Be Another Day', By Seanchai and the Unity Squad, a collaboration with Chris Byrne, formally with Black 47. Artist Goodsight has performed and/or recorded with: The Jive Five, John Popper of the Blues, Travelers, Kylie Minogue, The Ruffians and the late Jeff Buckley. He is featured on Jeff Buckley's newly released CD, 'Grace, The Legacy Edition.' ANDREW GOODSIGHT'S many recording credits include studio work with Meredith Brooks, Mazzy Star, Snow, Tricky and Mugs of Cyprus Hill. He performed the guitar tracks on the re-mixes for Bush on the MTV Award nominated song 'Mouth' featured in the film American Werewolf in Paris for which he was awarded a gold record. MUSICHEAD began as a band created and conceived by Andrew Goodsight and Jonathan Goldstein in 1990, performing their original style of Rock, Funk, Country, R&B and Folk in various clubs in New York City. The idea for the group was that pop music doesn't have to suck; it just does so let's try to change it. Jonathan's true passion and training being acting forced him to move to L.A., thus making the collaboration impossible. Over the years Music Head did some shows and recordings with a forever changing line-up. Over the last couple years the group has remained in N.Y.C. playing prolonged engagements at Rocky Sullivan's and more recently, B3. The current line-up is Andrew Goodsight, Guitar, vocals and harmonica; Peter Mark, drums; Rob Graziano bass; and Jason Goodrow on guitar and vocals. MUSICHEAD has performed in some of the most respected music venues as Arlene Grocery, CBGB, the original SIN-E and clubs and festivals throughout the northeast.
