It gets filthy on our walks as he jumps in every muddy puddle, I rinse it through almost daily and peg it out to dry, and it still looks as new. Definitely would recommend, my labrador was 6 months old I got size large, and on the smallest setting it fit him, plenty of room to grow in to.
