      Works well but end connector is wrong type for model 3624

      Fits and works in Bissell model 3624, however the small T-shaped connector at the end is not the right part for this model and would result in a wet mess if used to connect to the unit's internal water hose. That connector must be removed and the original straight-line connector reused instead in its place. Deducting one star because this is not a true drop-in replacement.

      Much better than replacing the whole unit. Save yourself some money.

      Getting this item saved me money. The install took a bit more disassembly than I thought but I took my time and all was good. It takes a Phillips screwdriver and small pliers for the hose clamps. About 12-14 screws to get the surrounding shell and top cover off. All screws are the same size so no worries to where they go. Start with popping the cover off the side reel the hose wraps around. Then remove screws around the electrical cord. Remove screws around the surrounding cover and slip it down the electrical cord a little ways. The plastic tube just unplugs with an o-ring (clean that o-ring area and apply a little grease when installing the new hose). Take the top cover to get to the hose tee fitting. Remove the clamps and switch out the tee fitting. When assembling keep note to route ...

      Bissell Spot Clean Pro hose

      Perfect fit. Best price I found anywhere. Seems to be good quality, at least as good as the original. More flexible and slightly longer than the original, making it easier to wind around the storage boss and the extra length keeps it from being stretched and splitting the hose at the joint of the attachment wand. Got my spot vac back up and running and kept it out of the landfill. There was a T fitting at the end of the solution hose that needed to be removed to attach to the original fitting. Must be for another model that this item fits. Very happy with this purchase.

      It's new, it's clean. It works, after you install it.

      As advertised. Seemed new so not old and rotted out of the bag. You do need to remove almost every screw to install the new one. I reuse the old water line connector, not sure about all the branching of the new one. The hose is clear, my wife doesn't like seeing the gunk but I think it helps when you raise the hose to drain it when you're done.
