    Brilliant, simple and inexpensive!

    My install was a little different, the accumulator had been replaced so I was not sure this is where my hard shifts were coming from. I also noticed that one of the springs was missing in my acc. however the thing that alarmed me was the extremely tight fit, with a seal and an o-ring it was difficult to seat the unit in the housing and I thought for sure this was wrong and not going to work properly. I was happy to find this unit helped my issue's of lurching on start up and hard shifting into first and second gear. Extremely happy with the outcome.

    Great buy

    Definitely recommend this product I would buy it again if I need it. Very simple to install and my pickup is also happy is doing so much better.

    Fixes 1-2 hard shift / hesitation on 4l60e

    Just like the title says, this is a must have upgrade for your 4l60e. I had been fighting a hard shift from 1-2 for almost a month now, and this fixed it. Also, you can hardly tell that it shifts from 1-2 when driving normally. It's as smooth as butter! 03 GMC 1500 has 200k+ miles and now the trans feels better than new. Also, I would recommend the Corvette servo upgrade as well. Also seems to help improve shifting and will extend the life of the bands and clutches. Easy install, takes maybe 5 minutes once you drop the pan.

    On the fence

    I bought this item for a 4L 60 E transmission valve body repair I actually bought two of these I was able to get the first one and no problem but I wasn’t able to use the second one due to the fact that when putting the O-ring around the piston it’s fitment was sloppy at best I do not recommend these anyways I would just go with OEM shift accumulators

    This Really Fixes what It Says It Fixes!!!

    Immediately got rid of my hard shifting issues from 1st to 2nd gear! After changing the ATF and filter and that didn’t fix the issue. I found a lot of issues with people complaining about the plastic accumulators GM put in their 4160E transmissions. Well, it was my last resort before having to rebuild or replace my transmission and this did the job!
