Excellent buy
A classic film. I had seen it previously both on TV and in the theatre and I had promised myself I would buy it someday. I am glad I have bought this version because, in addition to the movie, it contains a second dvd with special features that add to the entertainment value of the set. Amusing 50's musical classic
Considered Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's greatest musical, this movie is a light hearted look at the movies when they transitioned from silent to sound. Gene Kelly, Donald O'Connor and Debbie Reynolds work well together and Reynolds, who had no previous dance experience performed remarkedly well.
