River City Ransom gets updated with new storylines, multiple endings, and a dynamic combat system in River City: Rival Showdown. Gamers take control of Kunio as he fights through swarms of thugs to help track down the girlfriend of his friendly rival Riki. Players dole out punches and kicks as they engage in classically styled side-scrolling combat, but light role-playing elements let them explore the city freely and collect loot from fallen foes to purchase health, attribute increases, and special attack skills. Multiplayer fans can also join a friend for local co-op brawling.

Absolutely Brilliant
This game is the sh!t. just like nes, only you're getting jumped by 4+ guys each time. kinda hard in the beginning to level up, but you get to keep your level upon beating the game.
