It Is Ok
It has a lot of great information, but it is not what I expected. I was hoping to be able to look up, for example, strep throat, and it would have the oils to use, how to use, where to apply and reason why each of these oils was good for this specific illness. With 4 children, I bought this book to help me with their specific common illnesses that children get. As it happens, a few days after I got this book, one of my children got sick. I looked up several things in this book to help heal my child, either, it wasnt in there or gave very little info or was too general. this really is theraputic
I got this book for a specific project, but after reading into it I became hooked on essential oils. These aromas are really powerful for mood elevation and the oils are not only for the scents, but can be healing (theraputic). Great Book
Have several essential oil books and this is by far the best. Good content and helps you understand the different ways each oil can be used. A big disappointment
When I bought this I was very excited but after reading through it and looking at some of the antiquated information, I found it wasn't at all what I needed or expected. Then I looked at the publishing date and saw it was back in 1991. The PC computer wasn't even invented yet and the cell phone was about as big as a radio hand set in the car console. The medical terms used are: Chilblains for cold feer and Lumbago for chronic back pain. These are words that describe what Michael Angelo suffered while painting the Cystine Chapel. I rolled my eyes and chucked the book. There are a few pages out of nearly 400 that have some good oil info but I could have found that on the internet for free. I don't recommend it to anyone who is serious about Essential Oils unless you want a to have a computer and a dictionary close at hand for the really old terminology and some useful EO information. The Bible of essential oils!

Very comprehensive, yet easy to read.
