The sound I was looking for
I am a big Tony Franklin fan I wanted to emulate his influence in my bass playing. I put together a fretless bass with most of the components of his Signature Fretless Precision bass . These are his string of choice and have become mine as well. I intend to use Sunbeams on my 5 string fretted bass at my next string change. I love the evenness of tone with these strings. Smooth, warm, and lots of tone

The Best Round Wound Bass Strings Set
Guys let me tell you, this one is the best round wound bass strings set that you can find because it's glassy, not too zingy highs, very articulate mids, and a nice growly bottom with extra bright tone. It uses a wiring process called Compression-Winding, which consists in wrap the strings with a little more gauge and then, compress it back to the right gauge. It makes the wiring become more tight and consistent, avoiding the excessive finger friction and easing the capability for the continuous playing.

Great strings, bad tax
All good except the import tax, as I live in the UK I would have been better off with a local supplier - the price looked good but it wasn't. FAB strings though, the best!
