Definitely worth it
Both are rare and good movies. Mr.limpet is both regular and animated. About a man who's too small and weak to serve his country and his life is not very happy. His obsession with fish causes him to wish he was one and his wish comes true(animated section). He finds his way through the water and his own way of serving his country as well as a new love. Jane is a musical her town and her secret crush on a military soldier. The town laughs at her a lot of the time and her tall tales of her adventures. When the town wants a specific showgirl to entertain the saloon She wants to find her and gain respect from the town. In a case of mistaken identity she brings the star's assistant to town and once the identity of the girl comes at 1st there's a problem because she made the promise and the girl was nervous but when she's given a chance the girl charms the whole town and Jane's crush and Wild Bill as well. As time goes on a rivalry between the two men for the new showgirl begins and despite the girl's friendship with Jane her crush chooses the new showgirl over her and the trouble begins.

Great fun wonderful enjoyment
It was great when it was the big screen and is just as enjoyable on the small screen. It goes hand in hand with the movie Annie Git Your Gun. Both musicals and both entertaining especially with the actors who played the various parts. They knew they were there to entertain you and Theo do it quite well. These actors could out act the majority of the actors today, they enjoyed what the do and proved it really well in this presentation. A wonderful addition to my musical theater films.

If you enjoy musicals, it's a definite "must have".
A grand old musical, and the great voices of Doris Day and Howard Keel. I saw the movie as a child, and I could still recall the music and lyrics. You have to make a few allowances for the characterization of native people, but the movie was produced in another time. There is more cultural awareness now.....

Calamity Jane has never been so loveable....
This is one of my favorite Doris Day movies. Love it!!

A Fun Movie!!!
This is by far, the best Doris Day movie ever!! The singing, dancing and dialog is the best!! It's a fun good time movie! I highly recommend it!!

Entertaining and enjoyable!
This is a wonderful movie. I would definitely call it a classic and a must-have for any collection. The whole family would enjoy this movie.
