A sumptuous feast of shifting loyalties and palace intrigue!
I haven't watched these discs, as we had recently viewed the series on PBS for the second time. Ordered the set for another viewing in the future, and to share with family members who are interested but haven't seen any of it previously. The production is magnificent!

GOOD PERIOD PIECE
The settings are much more realistic and the story line more believable than most production on the subject. The King was the weakest in the production. This is a production for people who like history and have some knowledge of the period. It is not for the novice. You can get lost in the number of characters and events going on at the same time.

Only aware as the series is almost over.
Wasn't really sure in the beginning, as there were characters that were rather confusing. As it progressed, became more interesting. Again, the sound quality is rather poor and combined with the English accent is hard to understand. When numerous copies are made, it degrades the sound quality.

Great Product
Quick delivery, outstanding price. Great show. It's not available anywhere without a fee so buying this DVD was a great deal.The series is good enough to watch many times. Mark Rylance is phenomenal.

The Great Matter
This movie portrayed Thomas Cromwell and his struggle to make King Henry the 8th happy. The scene at the end of the movie showed how dangerous this tyrant this king was. Damian Lewis at his best!

Great value with dvd you can watch whenever you want.
Addictive Historical drama. You think you know these characters, but this production delivers so much more.

Wolf Hall will grab you:-)
This gorgeous adaptation of Hilary Mantel's novels is a completely successful translation of the extraordinary books to the screen.

Disappointing.
The story has potential, but it drags on and on and on. The actors are adequate although the Cromwell character is played as if he's on sedatives. "The Tudors" is from the same time period in history and is a much, much better option than "Wolf Hall." Barely 3 stars.

EXCELLENCE!!!
I am enjoying this series very much...I have one episode yet to watch. It is an excellent, very well acted version of The Henry VIII-Ann Boleyn-Jane Seymour history. My favorite Henry VIII to date!!!
