Dymo Brand is worth the extra cost
I went through a roll of these Dymo labels with consistently good results. I am now running a roll of an "equivalent" label material that is about 1/2 the cost of the Dymo labels. I have found that this new bargain label material doesn't seem to print fine detail with as much clarity, doesn't seem to have quite as dark a "black", and also doesn't print out grey scale with as much accuracy as the Dymo Brand label material. I am creating some labels with some fairly fine detail. I will finish out the roll of the bargain label material and go back again to the Dymo branded label material as for me the better printing fidelity is worth the extra cost for my application.
