    Receive my factory, sealed Robin Ford and the blue line CD gold remaster as stated my complaint is the cost of shipping was quite a lot and it took almost 30 days for me to get it, but that was packed well and it was factory sealed as stated I just don’t understand why the cost of shipping things and how has gone up so much Like I said I paid well over almost $30 just to ship a CD it took a month to get here but it didn’t make it and I appreciate the sale.     Pink Floyd’s best album by some distance!

    The Piper at the Gates of Dawn is nothing like Dark Side of the Moon, or the Wall, or anything else Pink Floyd have done since this astonishing debut. The reason is quite simple: Syd Barrett. This is his masterpiece, almost totally written by him, and defined by his wonderful English voice (long before Nick Drake), his intelligent, whimsical lyrics and his aggressive, ever-changing guitar (Townshend meets Clapton). Syd never made another decent record, so treasure this. People say he was a victim of LSD, but I think he just got bored with music and moved on. After all, if you’ve said it all in one disc, why make more? Pink Floyd, who have lived in his shadow ever since, gave us the answer in Dark Side - Money!

    Sometimes it takes time...

    As a teenager I liked See Emily Play and Arnold Lane but was totally confused by Piper, did not like the music of Floyd at all. Then one day walking through a store I heard a fantastic piece of music - Us and Them from DSOTM. Converted back to avid Floyd fan and have stayed with them with each new release. Eventually I worked through the back catalogue an this is the last addition now 58 years on I enjoy it, a fantastic piece of a great bands history, a shame we lost Syd as his full potential was never realised, if Floyd had developed to a five piece with boy Barret and Gilmour who knows what could have been possible ~ failure or greater fame??

    Great Phychedelic Stuff!

    One of my fave Floyd albums...Quirky Syd Barrett lyrics & music of the phychedelic era before Gilmore (great player) joined & the band became more mainstream.
