Remotely set it up from 2300 miles from a QR pic
I already installed a Nest learning thermostat at my parents in Los Angeles, but the sensor I ordered at the same time off eBay was a scam so I was unable to integrate it before going back home on the East Coast. I have my Nest and there’s in my app, so I had a friend snap a pic of the QR code on the sensor and I scanned it in the App then had my friend stand next to their Nest and BAMMO! Done! Now my medically recovering father’s room is always perfect and everyone else doesn’t have to suffer in an oven any more. Should save a lot of money as well as the room with the Nest is not used so there were constant trips to adjust it to make inhabited rooms comfortable.

Really nice. I wish nest never sold out ...
Really nice. I wish nest never sold out to google. I’ve seen complaints from people about connection. I had to hold it next to the thermostat to connect and after it was fine whenever I put it. It says nest on it and not google or the G which is nice. A bit confusing to use on the app to me.

Work Well
I bought it based on reviews and it works very well with Nest Learning. No issues, easy to connect. Very useful if you have upstairs where temperature is always different from downstairs.

This is exactly what I needed!
My thermostat is behind my TV, which isn't good to begin with. When I watch TV, it really messes up everything with the heat the TV generates in that area. I bought the sensor to place in an area that will give me a better reading. I got another to place in my bedroom for nighttime readings. Working nicely! I don't bother going by the readings on my thermostat at all. You can select any or all of the 4 sections of the 24 hour day - morning, midday, evening and night. You can also change them on the fly, if needed.

Very Simple but Very Useful....!
If you are going to use the Google Nest Thermostat and have more than one room in your house then I can't see why you wouldn't want a few of these around your house! The setup is a bit tricky but once they are connected to your Nest Account you can control the temperature in different rooms and not just the temperature at the main thermostat!

It's ok BUT Won't work with european version of Nest!
It is exactly what it is intended for. However, take care: Won't work with european version of Nest!!! Shame on google and nest for this!

Nice product
These nest temperature sensors give you some flexibility with the nest 3rd generation thermostat to locate multiple remote temp sensors in different rooms. If you have a multiple level house it helps to use an upstairs sensor at times when there is a difference in temperature between upstairs and downstairs. The only thing I wish nest would do would give the option to average or use the lowest or highest sensor reading. Even though great products.

This is a pretty unobtrusive little puck...
This is a pretty unobtrusive little puck. It was easy to set up and works well. It only lets you set 4 windows of when you might want to read this instead of the thermostat (morning, afternoon, evening, night). Also, the battery is an odd one but the device is too small for a AAA.

Works fine, but not flexible
Does what it's designed to do -- monitors temperature in an area away from the thermostat, that can be used to control the system. Not at all flexible -- cannot be used at any arbitrary time period(s), but only predefined "morning", "afternoon" and "evening" hours.
