Cons: None
While digital emulations are far, far better than they were even a couple of years ago, every musician should know what it feels like to play through a discrete analog circuit. Tech21's PSA 2.0 scores high marks for tone, feel, and programmability. Please read Guitar Player Magazine's review, where they really put the unit through its paces. In a word: "Cons: none."
Personally, the PSA 2.0 is the heart of my MIDI-fied pedalboard. The speaker simulation is so good I don't even bother hooking up my IR loader. Although, as the picture below attests, there is room for it should I change my mind. Also note that I have an XLR out to either an FRFR or the house mix. When you're in a band and you need to set up and tear down quickly, or if you play on silent stages or take part in musical theater orchestras, this is your best bet.
