Another Really Fine Mess......
I loved this film because I am a huge L&H fan. Always have been. I still laugh when I see a routine that I've seen hundreds of times and can recite the lines of everyone in the scene.. It's kind of sad to think that they were paid to make a film and that was all the money they got for it. No residuals. They were really pretty much screwed in the end. If you are not as big a fan as I you may not consider this a ***** movie, but if you have ever seen them you have to appreciate the makeup and acting of both leading actors, ESPECIALLY OLLIE!

Dance scenes best part...sad that they had so much difficulty later in career...actors were excellent in their portrayal.

Two thumbs up for Stan and Ollie
Perfectly performed by Coogan, Reilly and the two actresses who played their wives. It forever makes me see Stan & Ollie way more dimensionally than I ever could before. One of the best movies of its year!

Talented actors portrayal of Stan & Ollie.
Fun movie for all age groups, especially when viewed with grandparents. Back story of their years together made this a very interesting movie.

Excellent "sleeper".
John C. Reilly and Steve Coogan right on the mark. Not only in character, but look like them too. Very realistic representation and excellent behind the scenes bio that tells us about their personal relationship. I've loved Laurel and Hardy since childhood, and I will attest this is a great version.

Stan & Ollie...Great Acting, Great Movie!!!
If you are a fan of Laurel & Hardy, then this movie "Stan & Ollie" is worth your time. The story of the film shows the duo near the end of their run as they go on a trip overseas to perform shows. Steve Coogan and John C. Reilly play Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy respectively. Great acting by both of them.

The Boys
Loved watching Laurel and Hardy as a youth still enjoy watching Laurel and Hardy as a middle-aged man, and I will forever enjoy watching the boys till the day I die. They did a nice job of mimicking the duo's body English and characters. I enjoyed the film very much, and even choked up at the end of the film. A nice movie to watch when you want to feel a bit better and put on a nice gentle smile.

MUST SEE for Laurel & Hardy fans
Great movie. The actors look, act, and sound so much like Laurel and Hardy you will think it actually is them. The story is very good and it will keep you engaged the whole time. It tells about the tour in Great Britain after they were no longer making movies. It is a great story that will make you laugh and possibly cry also. If you really like Laurel and Hardy, you will be glad you saw this movie.
