His effects were integrated with live action in classics such as CLASH OF THE TITANS and JASON AND THE ARGONAUTS (famous for its sword fighting skeletons), but RAY HARRYHAUSEN: THE EARLY YEARS COLLECTION brings together a selection of Harryhausen's previous and lesser-known attempts at filmmaking. Included in the collection are his versions of Mother Goose stories and various fairy tales, several short films and demos, technological experiments, and a broad selection of making-of shorts, interviews, and featurettes.

A Must-have For All Fans Of Ray Harryhausen
This 2-Disc set not only includes the best possible remaster of Ray Harryhauen's Fairy Tale shorts (including the finished version of "The Tortoise And The Hair"), it also features all of his sahort films and early test footage, as well as test footage for abandoned projects and lots of inerwiews and documentaries.
