Perfect!
This is a duplicate to the one I built and used in 1978 and onward. Unfortunately, when I was ready to get back into CW and enrolled in the CW Academy, my old keyer no longer worked. This came up for sale just in the nick of time. It is spectacular. Only a slight adjustment for my spacing and weight, and it has me ticking along at 22 wpm. Now to get my receiving up to speed.

Oldie but goodie
It was fun taking the trip down memory lane by demoding this classic kit. I had forgotten that they provided just one color (brown) for point-to-point wiring.

Works well
The keyer had a broken power socket, as advertised. Heathkit pointed me to a replacement that cost $0.25 which worked. The unit works perfectly.
