Up the Chosen Men
Bernard Cornwell has a great way of putting a historical novel together with facts and accurate data. But when he writes it with fictional characters it becomes real. The producers of the Sharpe's series of movies caught the same spirit. Even my wife loves these movies.

lightweight dvd with nice features.
The Sharpe complete first season 1 on dvd was entertaining. It was a good story. It was great for the value.

This has so many twists and turns you just don't know where you are going. it is a good series.
seems to be extremely well written, makes you hate and love the characters.. you can lose yourself in these shows..
