Not for the Faint of Heart
Up front, I'll say that THE DRESDEN FILES are not for everyone, though fans of the Jim Butcher novels will doubtless gobble the series up. As one might expect, the episodes are dark -- frequently violent and bloody -- and definitely not for any viewers subject to nightmares after watching such fare. For my preference, I like a series that blends some lighter moments and humor in with the tense/violent incidents -- something like the old Gene Barry BURKE'S LAW series. So do I like THE DRESDEN FILES? Yes, but not as a steady diet. Mystery and Magic
