The hit television program EMERGENCY! was a landmark in a number of ways. Created during the early years of paramedics and emergency medical procedures, the program featured the experiences of two likable EMS men, Roy DeSoto and John Cage, as they raced around Los Angeles saving people from a variety of life-threatening situations. Assisting them in their efforts are their allies and friends in the local hospital, police, and fire departments. Created by Jack Webb, the star and producer of DRAGNET, EMERGENCY! emphasized realism and a positive view of emergency institutions, much like Webb's earlier program. In fact, it was even credited with spreading knowledge about EMS throughout the country, just as Webb intended. EMERGENCY! SEASON ONE contains the first 11 episodes of the program.

Best of the Best
One of the best shows ever on tv. Entire cast knows their stuff and proceed to put it out there. Highly recommend the entire series.

Great TV series!
This completes my collection of all 6 seasons of Emergency! The BEST paramedic show ever! I grew up with it and it still is engaging today!

Very entertaining.
I loved this series as a child and now I can watch it again. I am going to be buying the other seasons that I don't have yet.

Love Emergency!
I love this series, and what I didn't realize was that this season includes the pilot movie!....I had been looking all over for it, so it was a very pleasant surprise to find it included. There are many real fire fighters in the series, and they tried to be as accurate to current LA County fire rules, equipment, etc. as they could...this series changed the way most of America thought about emergency medicine
