    Perfect for the job.

    Let's just start by saying this is a $11 scope. Im not trying to see microbes. I got this for viewing half-tones on printed images and it works perfectly. Easy to focus, wide field of view, very bright light and over all just very nice. I have seen some complaints an out it being a toy or being fragile but, honestly, what did these people want for 10 bucks? If it breaks or if I lose it (more likely) I will gladly purchase another. Might even got the 40-60x model just for fun.

    Nice item

    Nice little unit that does actually work. Has a nice little light which brightens up what you are looking at sufficiently. Microscope has to be directly above item you are viewing on a table to be seen. Actual image you are looking at is magnified plenty enough to see lots of details and looks clear with no distortion. Microscope is mostly plastic and lightweight so it may not last long with very young kids throwing it about. I bought it for viewing tiny details on coins and it does the job. Happy with purchase.

    Lightweight with great features

    Sure nuff light weight. I started out with a 40X60 and it was so strong just a breath seemed to set it off center. The 20X40 is just right for me.

    Excellent pocket microscope.

    Take the grandkids out in the park and let them explore the details of leaves, flowers, rocks, etc. For the price it is awesome.

    You get what you pay for..ON/OFF switch failed to work right out of the package. Had to constantly press for light to remain on.
